Private Residence - Aegina island, Greece
The 120 sq.m. residence on Aegina, designed by our firm, combines modern architecture with traditional materials such as stone, offering a balanced design. We focused on maximizing natural light and ventilation through strategically placed openings and a functional layout. Large glass surfaces and clean geometric lines provide unobstructed sea views, while the use of local materials ensures that the building blends harmoniously with the natural landscape. The upper-level terrace is ideal for outdoor living, offering residents the opportunity to fully enjoy the surroundings. The challenge in designing this residence was the steep slope of the plot, which required a careful approach to integrate the building into the landscape without altering the natural topography. Our solution involved adapting the structure to the terrain, allowing it to merge naturally with the land. This approach enabled the building to follow the natural flow of the site, while creating spacious outdoor areas that maximize views and connection to the environment
