Estia House
"A 580 sq.m. retreat in Ekali, where warm timber, natural stone and soft earthy tones shape a calm interior around fire, light and everyday rituals"
Estia House-Athens, Ekali Greece.
Through a complete interior redesign, this luxury villa in Ekali is reimagined with a renewed identity and a contemporary character. With a total area of 580 sq.m., the residence was redesigned to respond to the needs and lifestyle of a family of four, combining comfort, functionality, and understated luxury.
A key request of the family was the creation of a central gathering space organised around the suspended fireplace, which descends from the ceiling and acts as a strong focal point within the main living area.
The new interior composition is defined by the use of warm, natural materials, with timber wall finishes and earthy tones creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the residence. The careful selection of textures, finishes, and surfaces establishes a sense of continuity between the different spaces, resulting in a cohesive and timeless interior.
One of the most distinctive areas of the villa is the indoor swimming pool and bar, conceived as a private space for relaxation and entertainment that can be enjoyed throughout the year. The residence also includes a sauna and a playroom, further enhancing its character as a complete environment for everyday living, leisure, and wellbeing.
